Public Notice

Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties, Inc. (CAPBMCI), intends to submit an application for capital assistance to provide public transportation pursuant to the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5339 Bus and Bus Facilities Program.  CAPBMCI will request funding for the acquisition of one (1) 18 passenger body-on-chassis bus equipped with a wheelchair lift to provide necessary back-up for buses currently in use in the Concord Area Transit service.  The estimated value of the FTA grant is $71,655 which represents 85% of the estimated total cost of the vehicle.  For more information or to request a public hearing please contact: Terri Paige, CAPBMCI at 603-225-3295 or tpaige@bm-cap.org within thirty (30) days.
